Are you an experienced legal secretary proficient in litigation and employment law practices? We are currently seeking a seasoned Legal Secretary with a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in litigation and employment law.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, and maintain filing deadlines.
  • Assist in organizing and summarizing case materials, including discovery documents and trial binders.
  • Conduct legal research, retrieve case law, statutes, and regulations as needed.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties professionally and efficiently.
  • Handle billing tasks, track billable hours, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm setting, specializing in litigation and employment law.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and court procedures.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team of legal professionals.
